Update on the IT service outage at the Vinařská area

Following the repair of damage to the central server room at the Vinařská area, we managed to restore the operation of the ACS MU systems over the weekend. Services are now fully operational again, and the canteens and Wi-Fi in the halls of residence should resume normal service from today.

Vinařská looking at improved canteen and outdoor premises

MU’s Accommodation and Catering Services is committed to the improvement of comfort of its residents even towards the very end of the semester. In addition to regular summertime maintenance and repair, which includes wall painting and minor repair work at the dormitories which are closed for summer, other renovation projects should start according the approved schedule.

Dorm reservations for next year launched

The current residents of MU dormitories have received their confirmations for dormitory accommodation for the next academic year, following the first two rounds of reservations. They could pre-order their current dormitory bed between 7–22 May; and 2,047 students chose to do so who now have their deposits paid and accommodation contracts signed.
