Two dormitories with 789 beds will be offered to students during this summer. Starting on 1 June students can contact accommodation assistant of the dormitory Sladkého in Komárov or the A1 dormitory at Vinařská.
In recent years the demand for accommodation during summer was lower than the total capacity offered. “Last year only 570 beds were occupied so the capacity assigned for this year should be more than enough. In case of any last-minute increase in demand we will be able to open the A2 or A3 building at Vinařská,” says head of accommodation of the Accommodation and Catering Services of Masaryk University Renata Pavlicová.
Renovations are fully underway at dormitories Kounicova a Bří. Žůrků while other dormitories will undergo regular summertime repairs and maintenance, such as wall painting or partial flooring repairs.
Foreign students and students returning from their internships abroad can look forward to higher chances in applying for accommodation for the 2025/2026 academic year, according to a recent decision by MU’s Accommodation Board.
