The Accommodation Rules of the University Halls of Residence, from 1.1.2025

Based on the Accommodation Board of MU discussions and after the approval of the MU management, the Accommodation Rules of the University Halls of Residence have been updated, effective January 1, 2025.

Summertime dormitories: Bří. Žůrků and Mánesova

Two dormitories – Bří. Žůrků in Komárov and Mánesova in Královo Pole – will remain open to ensure the 2025 summertime operations for MU students.

Reservations of beds for next year underway

The first round of reservations of dormitories for the 2025/2026 academic year is well underway for the current residents. From the first day (which was 5 May) a total of 1,654 students have submitted their applications.

New pipes and windows: Vinařská dormitory sees a lot of action

The Accommodation and Catering Services (ACS) aims to improve the comfort of its residents, and will continue to do so in the final weeks of the academic year and during the summer. Apart from regular summertime maintenance several scheduled reconstruction projects have started.
