Summertime dormitories: Bří. Žůrků and Mánesova
Two dormitories – Bří. Žůrků in Komárov and Mánesova in Královo Pole – will remain open to ensure the 2025 summertime operations for MU students.
According to the direction of the Government of the Czech Republic of April 19th, 2021, from April 24th, 2021 students must not be accommodated in the dormitories without a negative test – see Coronavirus | Masaryk University (muni.cz)
This regulation also applies to currently accommodated students.
Which means, from April 24th, 2021 students will present themselves at receptions with notifications of the test result by SMS, paper or email.
Newly arrived students will be required to submit the test result by SMS, paper or email no more than 48 hours old.
If the student submits a selftest, this must be done on the day of boarding the accommodation. If the student does not have a test when boarding the accommodation, he or she is obliged to use a selftest kit which he or she purchases at the reception and immediately performs a test which he or she submits to the reception. Subsequently, the student introduces the test result to IS MUNI.
If the student's test is positive, then the student goes to B&B UNIVERSITY HOTEL BRNO into a 14day quarantine.
