Updated Instructions for Handling Pests in Rooms

Dear students,

Please be informed that we have updated the procedure for handling situations where you discover pests, such as bed bugs or cockroaches, in your rooms.

The new instructions detail how you should proceed in such a situation and what immediate steps are necessary.

Reservations: all applicants for dormitories were granted their spot

Masaryk University has offered an increased capacity of 4,034 beds and more accommodation options for first-year students for this new academic year. Any applicant who applied for accommodation at MU dormitories this year and waited ultimately got their spot.

These are some of the many benefits of being a member of the Dormitory Councils. #MUNIsaves: Nine Energy Savings on Campus

For the new academic year, the management of the Accommodation and Catering Services (ACS) has prepared the Nine Energy Savings campaign for students staying in dormitories, focused on saving electricity, water and heat. This is in response to a similar #MUNIsaves campaign launched by Masaryk University in October 2022.
