Information on the accommodation schedule for the academic year 2023-2024
Dear students,
Please pay particular attention to the information (see Booking and Accommodation Timetable at MU Halls of residence for the academic year 2023/2024) that online bookings via the ISKaM accommodation system will be opened on 2 May for all Masaryk University upper year students who wish to keep their current bed.
The exception are MU students staying in Kounicova dormitory, where reconstruction will most likely take place from the next academic year and the dormitories will be closed. They will be able to book a bed in another MU dormitory from 15 May.
All currently accommodated students who continue their studies and express their interest in the academic year 2023/2024 will get a place in the dormitories by the deadline.
Reservation of beds for upper-year MU students who are in active study ends on 25 May. As in previous years, in order to make a valid reservation, you must also sign the accommodation contract electronically and pay a reservation deposit of CZK 2,000 immediately.
We would also like to draw your attention to the announcement of special by-elections for the Residence Hall Councils, which will allow you, the students, to participate in issues related to housing in MU residence halls. Candidates for a seat on the Residence Hall Council can apply until March 17. Details are posted on the SKM website (https://www.skm.muni.cz/aktuality/dodatecne-volby-do-kolejnich-rad).
